Mackie, the audio equipment manufacturer have announced the release of a new powered (this means it has an amplifier in it) bass speaker cabinet to compliment their highly acclaimed Mackie SRM450 MK2 powered speakers.
The new Mackie SRM1801 powered bass bin has been a long-time coming. I can’t count the amount of customers who have asked, when purchasing Mackie SRM450 speakers, if Mackie have a complimenting bass cabinet – well now, here it is!
As with all Mackie products, this powered bass bin looks like a quality piece of kit. There’s no doubt, and especially since it’s specifically designed for use with the Mackie SRM450, it will sound amazing!
With it’s massive 1000W of output power this means that a set-up with 2x SRM1801 and 2x SRM450 MK2 would be an active powerhouse of a massive 2,800 watts!
