The new Business & Professional Group provides a broad product offering for a wide range of professional AV, broadcast and professional DJ applications.

Formation of the new group was announced on 1 November, along with the appointment of Bob Goleniowski as its Managing Director. It reorganises D&M’s professional product brands – Denon Professional, Marantz Professional, Denon Professional DJ, Allen & Heath and Calrec – within a single division.

The Denon DN-V110 replaces the popular DN-V100 and integrates a raft of high performance features derived from Denon’s critically acclaimed, hi-fi press award winning DVD-1740 consumer player within a professional rackmount model; all designed to provide rich, cinema like replay on today’s large scale high definition flat screen displays.

The DN-A300M replaces the renowned Denon PMA-100M, a favourite with commercial installers. Like it’s predecessor, the DN-A300M offers a high quality solution for small installations, and provides improved mic mixing functionality and increased amplifier power over the existing model range.

Following an extensive evaluation period, the department decided to replace all of its analogue systems with the Marantz solidstate solution and has purchased 10 PMD570 and 30 PMD580 units. The PMD recorders supersede an architecture based on professional compact cassette systems. The new systems were supplied and installed by IEC Strasbourg, supported by Alain Mielle, Head of IT and Multimedia at the Council of Europe.

DMi D&M Installation has announced the arrival of the Denon Professional DN-C620, the company’s most affordable professional Installation CD player. The DN-C620 boasts a 1U form factor with fully professional functionality, specifications and performance, at a new cost competitive price point.
